Packing should match the route
Export packing for stainless steel should be selected according to transport distance, container loading plan, product shape and surface finish. Appearance-focused material needs stronger surface protection than general industrial stock.
Sheet and coil packing
Sheets may require wooden pallets, moisture barrier paper, edge protection and protective film. Coils may be packed eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall with steel strapping, waterproof wrapping and skid support.
Pipe packing
Pipes are often packed in bundles with woven bags or plastic sleeves. End caps, size tags and bundle labels help the buyer identify material after arrival. High-finish decorative tube may need extra sleeve or crate protection.
Documents and inspection
Before shipment, confirm packing list, commercial invoice, mill test certificate and any inspection report. Buyers can also request loading photos or package marking details for receiving control.
